Dietrich pads stat sheet with another top-five at BAPS; Full weekend agenda still TBD

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (March 30, 2026) - Despite Mother Nature doing her best to ruin the entire weekend in Pennsylvania Posse Country, the show went on as scheduled at BAPS Motor Speedway on Sunday, March 29, and “Double-D” Danny Dietrich was in on the action. Although short of achieving victory, the Gettysburg native did the next best thing and concluded competition with a top-five, his fourth of the 2026 season, simultaneously increasing his overall top-ten count to six.
Dietrich, ace of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Speedway Volkswagen & Subaru, Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, No. 48 sprint car, finished fourth in his top-five appearance, commencing action from row three.
“It's tough to build some rhythm when we’re forced to fight Mother Nature at the same time,” Dietrich said. “Regardless, I'm happy to get another top-five at BAPS. I wanted to be up front, but consistency is important. We’ll see how the weather plays out this week…hopefully better.”
ON DECK:
Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2026 season with upcoming starts at Williams Grove Speedway and either Port Royal Speedway or Lincoln Speedway on Friday and Saturday, April 3-4.
