Dietrich on top at Port Royal; PA tripleheader next

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (March 23, 2026) - “Double-D” Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing finally notched one in the win column, doing so at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace” on Saturday, March 21. Dietrich, who scored $6,000 for his efforts, secured his Port Royal triumph in the first-ever PA Posse 410 Sprint Series event, leading every lap of the 25-contest from the pole position. For Dietrich, the win was the peak of progress and perseverance, slowly improving their program since their return from early season action in Florida.
Not stopping there, Dietrich, the driver of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Speedway Volkswagen & Subaru, Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, No. 48 sprint car, raced on to finish fourth at Williams Grove Speedway on Sunday, March 22, simultaneously increasing his top-ten count to five on the year, three of which within the top-five including the Port Royal Speedway victory.
“Super happy for this team…these guys deserve it,” Dietrich said. “It’s been a long haul in improving our program, but we never stopped working and the effort paid off. This is the best we’ve felt all season. I think we figured some things out and I’m confident this is the first of many wins.”

Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2026 season with upcoming starts at Williams Grove Speedway, Port Royal Speedway and BAPS Motor Speedway on March 27-29.
