Dietrich to continue March slate with Lincoln and BAPS

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (March 9, 2026) - Danny Dietrich’s Sunday outing to Lincoln Speedway may have ended on a bad note, tipping over just before the finish to be scored 16th, but his focus is far from removed, already aiming big in a two-race weekend in Central Pennsylvania beginning Saturday, March 14, at Lincoln Speedway.
Dietrich, the driver of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Speedway Volkswagen & Subaru, Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, No. 48 sprinter, will continue his mid-March slate with a Sunday visit to BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven on March 15. The event will be BAPS’ first sprint car program of the season.
As noted, Dietrich’s recent visit to Lincoln ended on a sour note, tipping over in turns three and four just before the checkers were shown. The Gettysburg ace and reigning Central PA champion was battling for a top-five at the time of the incident.
“Not the ending we wanted…an embarrassing ending,” Dietrich said. “We’ll shake this off and move forward. Not much else to say other than we owe more to our fans and supporters.”
ON DECK:
Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2026 season with another weekend double in the Keystone State, visiting Lincoln Speedway and BAPS Motor Speedway on Saturday and Sunday, March 14-15.
