THE GROVE
Yet another time trial show was on the schedule. Double D would take his GKR # 48 Sprinter to the track and put a great lap together. At the end of time trials, Double D would be 3rd quick. Double D would start 6th in his heat. Only taking 5 to transfer to the feature, Double D would only need to pick up one spot to transfer. Team 48 missed the setup for the heat race and DD finished 7th. For the consi Double D would start 4th, only 4 would transfer to the feature. But if he could qualify, he would get his time back and still start no worse than 9th. Double D looked better and was in a transfer position when the engine blew. This would end the night for team GKR. Unfortunately, the great time Double D had would go to waste.
LINCOLN
Back to a normal night of racing, Double D would go out in Heat 1 starting 7th with 6 to transfer and 4 to be handicapped. Double D raced hard and within the last few laps made some good moves to end up with a 4th place finish. The feature would start with Double D in the 9th position. Only a few laps into the race, Josh Wells spins collecting Double D. Restarting from the back, Double D would charge forward. Team GKR would finish a hard fought 13th.
